The Moral Landscape: Thinking About Human Values in Universal Terms

Sam Harris’s new book, The Moral Landscape: How Science Can Determine Human Values, has sparked much interest in the scientific community. From his recent TED conference video we learned that science can get us closer to the truth of moral objectivity. However, I must disagree that science cannot dictate morality. Value judgments are not scientific, but it does bring a good discussion to the table.
