The biology of homosexuality

May 27, 2009 at 6:20 pm (Enternetainment original post, homosexuality)

Well, I’ve finally done some real research into homosexuality and the biology behind it. According to Sexual Preference (only a $1.98!), some of the main causes behind this phenomenon is due to:

  • the presense of more testosterone in women
  • the presence of less testosterone in men
  • an extra X-chromosome in men
  • testicular feminization“:
    • these are men who act and feel like women
    • these men are effectively treated socially like women
    • may marry a male due to mistake of the fact that they are male
    • rare

There were also some environmental studies, even a couple of charts which, if I had a scanner on me at present, I would upload them. I hope this helps anyone wondering, like I did, what makes us straight or gay. Now, bisexuality… that’s something entirely different. I’ll have to more research into that. But, according to Freud, we’re all bisexual, but we’re either socially homosexual or heterosexual.

What is the most peaceful country on earth? And why?

May 22, 2009 at 9:32 am (Enternetainment original post)

The inhabitants of Sweden enjoy a high standard of living, and the country is generally perceived as modern and liberal, with an organizational and corporate culture that is non-hierarchical and collectivist compared to its Anglo-Saxon counterparts. Nature conservation, environmental protection and energy efficiency are generally prioritized in policy making and embraced by the general public in Sweden.

The video speaks for itself.

Inheritently evil or not?

January 10, 2009 at 4:10 pm (Enternetainment original post)

In Confucianism, there’s this thing called life force, and everyone has one. Li and Qi are apart of everyone, so get use to it.
Simply put, Li is the basic form or fundamental principle of something (yes, it’s not limited to just life or animate beings). And Qi is the substance or stuff(ing) of which the Li is made.
Well, from my experience, it seems that humans are completely inheritantly evil, but what basis did I pull that from? Well, my own mother is a fucking pig, and only does things for her own benefit, looking out for #1, neglecting me as a kid. Well, I’m sorta the same way, I’ll look out for #1 only for survival purposes only, but when it comes to helping people out, I’ll go out of my way to do so. And, society seems to frown upon that. Except, of course, when it comes to religion. People will definately go out of their way to “guide someone to the right path”. “You do not need the bible to justify love, but no better tool has been invented to justify hate.” That was a quote by Richard A. Weatherwax. If only we could get rid of the Bible, the Avesta, the Koran, etc. then we could move on and try out the true test of the human venture. What if there were no religions, and just laws? The country would go in chaos, you say? Well, I say that’s a bullshit alternative. This is probably a very good reason to push religion onto others, but it’s still just an excuse to push it onto others.
Oh boy, another tangent I’ve seen to go down.
You could also say that humans are inheritantly good, but that is hard for me to believe. I have only seen a few people go out of their way for selfless reasons to help others. It’s a bullshit world, there is no “love thy neighbor” existence in this world. None, and the sooner the reality hits you, the sooner we can both go eat. “Well, there’s Mother Teresa, and Bill Gates, they’re helping out people” you might say. Well, that’s becuase they have the resources to do that sort of thing. I don’t, and I will not pretend to do that, in spite of any arguments to convince you that I am a better person because of my past experiences. I have made many mistakes, sure, but the one mistake that I try not to make is the one that involves hurting others.
