The sacred texts of the Strangites

June 3, 2010 at 7:29 am (Mormonism)

The Strangites were a breakaway group from the Brigham Young division of the early history of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. The Strangites were founded by James Strang, considered by his followers to be the successor to Joseph Smith.
Translation of what are known as the Voree plates began by use of the Urim and Thummim, just as Joseph Smith claimed to use. The group has currently about 200 members, and meets regularly in Missouri for group meetings.
Here are the sacred translated texts: The Book of Jasher and Book of the Law of the Lord.
