Top reasons for not believing (part 2)

December 18, 2008 at 9:31 pm (reasons to doubt)

Remember Top reasons for not believing (part 1)? Well, I’ve got more reasons.

  1. π. It’s not right. It’s a petty issue, but if you’re the creator, then you should have Pi down as an estimate, not a factual, non-re-calculable irrational number!
  2. The Pentateuch was in fact not written by Moses alone.
  3. 3. If you’ve watched The God Who Wasn’t There (YouTube clips search link), it’s stated that Jesus came, died, and was forgotten for nearly 30 years before the Gospels were ever written. The authors of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) couldn’t even read or write, and had to have scribes write their books.
  4. What happened to the whole millenium thing? Y2K?
  5. Seven days??? Six days??? Really?

Btw, I believe that comes out to a total of 13 reasons not to believe.
